Use What God Gave You
Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them. Romans 12:6
Did you know God gave you special gifts? It’s true! The Bible says every single one of God’s children has been given gifts and abilities. And we’re supposed to use them! Some people are great at encouraging others. Some are good at teaching or explaining things. Some are awesome helpers. Some are super generous. Some are amazing at being kind and showing mercy. God gave out all different gifts on purpose!
The apostle Paul wanted Christians to use their gifts generously to bless others. He didn’t want anyone to bury their gifts and forget about them. He wanted everyone to jump in and serve! Think of it this way: a flashlight isn’t very useful sitting in a drawer. It shines its brightest when you actually turn it on and use it. Your gifts are the same way!
When we use our gifts to help others, we’re showing our love in a way people can actually see and feel. Look at all the good things God has given to us, like His love, His care, and His blessings. Since God has done so much for us, why wouldn’t we want to do good things for Him in return? Whether it’s helping at church, sharing what you have, or serving someone in need, using your gifts is one of the best ways to say “thank You” to God!
Take Action: Put one of your gifts to work this week! Think about something you’re good at or something you enjoy doing. It could be making people laugh, helping, organizing, being kind, encouraging, or sharing. Then find a way to use that gift to help someone else. Don’t keep your gifts in a drawer—turn them on and let them shine for God!

PARTNER WITH us

As a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, the importance of family has always been a core value in my life. I have been a pastor for decades, watching families grow and generation after generation come up in faith. That is why Bible Strong Kids is so important to me. What better legacy to leave for our children and grandchildren than to raise them up in faith, strengthening them for the journey ahead all the way into adulthood?
I hope you will join us in this endeavor to create the next generation of Bible Strong Kids—children who know their worth in God’s eyes and are equipped to shine His light in an increasingly dark world.
