The Wreath: The Circle That Never Ends
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life John 3:16
Have you noticed Christmas wreaths on people’s doors? They’re those pretty circles made of pine branches, sometimes decorated with ribbons, pinecones, or ornaments. You can find wreaths everywhere during Christmas—on doors, windows, and even hanging from light posts!
But did you know that Christmas wreaths aren’t just decorations? They actually have a special meaning! The wreath is shaped like a circle, and a circle has no beginning and no end. It just goes around and around forever. That circle shape reminds us of something super important: the everlasting life that Jesus came to give us!
When Jesus was born in Bethlehem, He came to give us a gift that lasts FOREVER. The Bible says that everyone who believes in Jesus will have “everlasting life.” That means our life with Jesus doesn’t stop when we die—it goes on and on and on, like a circle that never ends!
Some presents are cool for a few days or weeks, but they eventually get old or break. But the gift Jesus gives us—eternal life with Him—is the best gift ever because it NEVER runs out! It’s like having Christmas morning every single day forever and ever in heaven with Jesus!
Take Action: The next time you see a Christmas wreath (maybe on your own door or a neighbor’s house), let it remind you of God’s amazing gift of eternal life! You could even make your own paper wreath. Cut a circle out of green construction paper (or color a paper plate green), decorate it however you want, and write “Everlasting Life!” in the middle. Hang it in your room to remember that Jesus’ gift lasts forever! Then thank Jesus for the greatest gift ever—life with Him that never, ever ends!

PARTNER WITH us

As a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, the importance of family has always been a core value in my life. I have been a pastor for decades, watching families grow and generation after generation come up in faith. That is why Bible Strong Kids is so important to me. What better legacy to leave for our children and grandchildren than to raise them up in faith, strengthening them for the journey ahead all the way into adulthood?
I hope you will join us in this endeavor to create the next generation of Bible Strong Kids—children who know their worth in God’s eyes and are equipped to shine His light in an increasingly dark world.
