Your Special Gift
There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:4
What are you really good at? Maybe you’re great at drawing, or making people laugh, or being a good friend, or running fast, or helping others feel better when they’re sad. Everybody is good at something different, and that’s exactly how God planned it!
The Bible says that when the Holy Spirit came to live in your heart, He gave you a special “spiritual gift.” That’s a special ability to help others and serve God in your own unique way.
Think about it like a soccer team. Not everyone can be the goalie, and not everyone can be the striker. The team needs different players doing different jobs to win. If everyone tried to do the exact same thing, the team would be a mess! God’s family is the same. He gave everyone different gifts so we can work together.
How do you find out your gift? Pay attention to what you love doing for God and others, and what seems to go really well when you do it. Then put it to work! Your gift isn’t just for you. It’s a present from God that you get to use to bless others.
Take Action: Go on a gift hunt this week! Ask a parent or trusted grown-up, “What do you think I’m really good at?” Their answer might point to one of your gifts. Then think of one way to use that gift to help someone. If you’re funny, cheer someone up. If you’re helpful, lend a hand. If you’re a good friend, sit with someone who’s alone. Ask God to show you your gift, and then put it to work for Him!

PARTNER WITH us

As a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, the importance of family has always been a core value in my life. I have been a pastor for decades, watching families grow and generation after generation come up in faith. That is why Bible Strong Kids is so important to me. What better legacy to leave for our children and grandchildren than to raise them up in faith, strengthening them for the journey ahead all the way into adulthood?
I hope you will join us in this endeavor to create the next generation of Bible Strong Kids—children who know their worth in God’s eyes and are equipped to shine His light in an increasingly dark world.
