Greater Works
Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. John 14:12
Have you ever planted a single seed and watched it grow into a whole plant? One little apple seed can grow into a tree. That tree can grow hundreds of apples. Each of those apples has seeds that can grow even more trees. From just one seed, you can get an entire orchard!
Jesus knew about this kind of growing. He told His followers something almost too amazing to believe: that they would do “greater works” than even He did! How could anyone do greater things than Jesus?
Here’s the answer: Jesus was just one person walking around in one place. But after He went back to heaven, He sent His Holy Spirit to live inside all His followers everywhere. Now there are millions of people sharing God’s love all over the whole world! It’s like that one seed growing into a giant orchard.
The exciting part is that you get to be a part of those “greater works”! When you tell a friend about Jesus, help someone in need, or show God’s love, you’re part of the amazing thing Jesus started long ago. God wants to do great things through you.
Think About It: Jesus is doing big things all over the world through ordinary people who love Him—including you! What “greater work” could God do through you this week? Maybe helping someone who’s left out, telling a friend that Jesus loves them, or praying for someone who’s sad. Ask God, “What greater thing do You want to do through me?” Then keep your eyes open for the chance!

PARTNER WITH us

As a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, the importance of family has always been a core value in my life. I have been a pastor for decades, watching families grow and generation after generation come up in faith. That is why Bible Strong Kids is so important to me. What better legacy to leave for our children and grandchildren than to raise them up in faith, strengthening them for the journey ahead all the way into adulthood?
I hope you will join us in this endeavor to create the next generation of Bible Strong Kids—children who know their worth in God’s eyes and are equipped to shine His light in an increasingly dark world.
