The Power of Hope
Therefore remember...that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. Ephesians 2:11-12
Merry Christmas! Today we celebrate the birth of Jesus—the most important birthday in all of history!
Did you know that doctors and scientists say that having hope is really, really important? When people have hope, they feel better, they’re healthier, and they can face hard times better. But when people lose hope, everything seems sad and dark and impossible.
The Bible talks about people who had “no hope.” That’s what life was like before Jesus came. People didn’t know how to have a relationship with God. They didn’t know how to be forgiven for their sins. They didn’t know for sure if there was life after death. They had no hope.
But then—on the very first Christmas—everything changed! Jesus was born! And suddenly, people had hope! Hope that God loves them! Hope that their sins can be forgiven! Hope that they can live with God forever in heaven!
Because of Christmas, because of Jesus, we don’t have to live without hope anymore. We can be sure that God loves us, that He’s with us, and that He has an amazing future planned for us!
Take Action: Today is all about celebrating Jesus! As you open presents and spend time with family, take a few minutes to thank God for the greatest gift ever—Jesus! Find time today to say a prayer like this: “Thank You, God, for sending Jesus! Thank You that because of Him, I have hope! I love You, Jesus! Happy birthday!”

PARTNER WITH us

As a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, the importance of family has always been a core value in my life. I have been a pastor for decades, watching families grow and generation after generation come up in faith. That is why Bible Strong Kids is so important to me. What better legacy to leave for our children and grandchildren than to raise them up in faith, strengthening them for the journey ahead all the way into adulthood?
I hope you will join us in this endeavor to create the next generation of Bible Strong Kids—children who know their worth in God’s eyes and are equipped to shine His light in an increasingly dark world.
